Model 350JLS ~ John Lawlor Signature Jazz Tenor Guitar

“My rhythm player brought his new Po’ Boy to rehearsal yesterday… Not only is it a stunning instrument to look at, but the sound of our band just improved! After the first tune I had to ask him to play softer as it was noticeably louder than his old Harmony tenor, but also warmer and a lot more defined. Beautiful, solid instrument!” Brian Campbell, Brian Campbell Trio

“The 327 is great. I really don’t have anything bad to say about it. It’s looks and sounds great. I think the body may be a tad bigger than the Gibson? It’s a showpiece!” Charley Redman, Kitten and the Tonics, Michigan.

It is safely unpacked, been tuned up, and played “au natural”! I am savoring all the stages of getting to know this beautiful instrument. It plays smoothly and has a really nice clear, almost bell-like tone unplugged. It really suits the kind of music I play (mostly traditional jazz/big band swing/fingerpicking style). And I LOVE- LOVE-LOVE the neck! At first I thought it was going to be too narrow for even my puny digits, but no. It feels great and is really easy for me to play. The fact that it is deep, with a narrow fretboard is just PERFECT. So comfy. E.F. New Jersey, U.S.A.
