Created in the tradition of the finest 0 Body Tenor ever made, the Songbird series is nothing but requisite craftsmanship, hand made blending the finest sound woods available today.

The 265B is carefully crafted to have the warm soft wood finish found only in guitars crafted nearly 100 years ago. Hand rubbed wood stains are eased into the solid Sitka Spruce and gracefully buffed to reveal the beautiful wood grain rather than washing it away or hiding it behind solid paint. The dark Heirloom Black shows thin allowing warm rich browns and wood grain to show through the black top surface. This very unique process makes every 265B unique yet consistently beautiful. Unlike relic guitars made to look road worn, battered and beaten, the Heirloom Black Songbird has the appearance of a treasured family heirloom passed among generations. Unlock the lush tweed hardshell case and inside awaits an O body Tenor guitar that’s part time traveler, part future family heirloom and 100% beautiful professional quality Songbird Tenor Guitar.

Hand selected aged solid Sitka Spruce adorns the top to present bright tones and resonate in a loud voice that’s clear without being shrill. The hand picked solid Mahogany back reverberates in warm rich tones that can only be achieved by the finest of guitars. The beauty of the woods are embellished with abalone binding. Combined together, the Songbird is ideal for the writer, entertainer or novice player who values heirloom quality over mass produced commodity guitars.

Along with the beautiful construction lies our truss rod neck assuring longevity and play ability for the years ahead and when the lights go on and you walk on stage, our onboard custom made equalizer is there, ready for you to dial in the sound you richly deserve.

Is it in production now?  Yes! As of 23/02/2023 we have gone into production.

Can I reserve a Left Handed Version?  Absolutely. We’ve got you covered. Let us know you want a left hand model when you preorder.

Shipping Date: May 10th, 2023 *( or sooner)

If it doesn’t ship by May 10th, can I get my deposit back? Yes. If for any reason we cant fulfill your order by May 10th due to unexpected shipping delays we will personally contact you prior and offer you a full refund and give you the updated delivery date.

Will you update the progress of production? ABSOLUTELY! You will be invited to join the Shari Ulrich Songbird Pre Order Owners Group on facebook for up to date information and production pictures. Not on facebook? We’ll keep you in the loop, we promise.

Are there other colour options? Yes, Satin Burst will be added to the series. This will be available after we succeed in gaining our original 4 investors in the 265B.

Will you offer other colours as PRE ORDERS?  Yes. Once we have met our goal of 4 265B  versions being reserved. Presently the 265N is now in production thanks in part to our incredible PreOrder Customers.

Is what I see, what I will get?  Minimal changes may occur in the embroidery on the case prior to production. You will be notified. All Shari Ulrich Songbird O Body guitars come with Abalone crested Ebony string pins. We also include at no charge a free Guitar humidifier and 2 additional Abalone String pegs.
