The insanity of the MAGA Trump Tariffs continually fluctuating made it incredibly difficult for our friendly American Customers. Some customers in march 2025 were hit with over $400 in Tariffs. It was obvious Craven could not continue to support our great friends. In October, 2025 Craven Tenor Guitars closed its doors.

Since then, The Supreme Court gave ruling that his self impose Tariffs were in fact NOT LEGAL, and struck them down. In doing so, Tariffs on Canadian ( and goods from around the world) dropped from 75% to the present 10%. By fall of 2026, its expected his majesty will amend those tariffs to 15%. While you may not see them visible, they are imposed on all goods flowing into the United States and paid by those importing goods ( who pass those costs onto you). Simply put that’s why why something you once paid $10.00 for is now costing you $11.50 or more, the reality of Tariffs is inflation. There is light at the end of the tunnel and its not a train coming at you, it’s the Midterms.
